Baby Violet arrived at my Isanti, MN studio & proceeded to be an absolute DREAM for her newborn portrait session!! Her big sister was definitely not smitten with her as I was but I know she'll come around. A sister is a built-in bestie! I adore the image of the two of them together though as it really sums up how she was feeling in that moment about her new sibling lol. And I love that mom & dad picked it for their gallery! It's real life y'all! Toddlers don't always cooperate for photos & that's ok! What I like to do if that happens is take baby away & have the older sibling interact with a toy or stuffed animal where we would normally have the baby. Then I take photos of your newborn in the set up without their sibling. During post processing, I simply merge the two photos together & voila!! We photographers have lots of tricks up our sleeves to make sure your session goes as smooth as possible!
